In 2013 William Mawdsley, then aged 9, was fed up with the slow speed of the broadband at home in Casterton and was intrigued by
the hyperfast projects then just being started in parishes nearby. He made contact with B4RN and became an enthusiast, but the adults
around him were too busy to do anything about it.
William never lost the gleam in his eye, though, and three years later he persuaded
his grandparents, Marjorie and Richard Murray, to take up the challenge.
B4RN for Casterton was born!
